RADAR Medical Systems and SaferMed Have Partnered to Reduce Malpractice Insurance Cost to Physicians
RADAR Medical Systems and SaferMed have partnered to reduce the risk of “failure to communicate” errors for radiologists.
New York City - July 16, 2009 - RADAR Medical Systems and SaferMed have partnered to reduce the risk of radiologists using critical test result management systems.
Malpractice insurance premiums continue to increase, costing physicians $2 Billion per year. For radiologists, failure to communicate critical test results is one of the primary reasons for this increase. This partnership between RADAR Medical Systems and SaferMed aims to lessen this burden by facilitating communication between physicians and malpractice insurance groups.
Using a proprietary technique (patent pending), SaferMed communicates critical test result compliance obtained by RADAR in a non-biased manner to the malpractice insurance groups, thereby reducing the risk exposure to all relevant parties.
